Health Care on the Treasure Coast
There are seven general acute care facilities and four mental health/psychiatric hospitals having inpatient and outpatient programs as well as nursing homes and assisted living facilities with 24-hour skilled nursing care. Ancillary services include walk-in medical clinics, rehabilitation centers, wellness centers, diagnostic centers, home health companies, outpatient surgery centers, and birthing centers. There are also Hospice facilities available that provide care for terminally ill patients. Special regional centers povide a FDA funded Alzheimer's facility, open-heart surgery center and complete cancer centers. You will also find physicians and dentists in general and speciality practice on the Treasure Coast.

Opened in 1939, Martin Memorial Medical Center is a nonprofit organization that includes two hospitals, three MediCenters, and numerous centers and clinics.

Treasure Coast Hospice is a not-for-profit organization serving Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties. Hospice caregivers are full-time compassionate professionals and dedicated volunteers who offer physical, emotional and spiritual care to the terminally ill and their loved ones. More info >>
